What is Jute?

Jute is natural vegetable plant that grows into a long, soft and shiny fiber that can be spun into strong threads. It is one of the worlds most affordable natural fibers and can be produced in large quantities and has a variety of uses. Jute cleans the air by consuming carbon dioxide and is decomposable in landfill. 

Our Natural Jute Yoga Mat is comprised of Jute which is phthalate free and is safe in all production processes and post-production uses. The natural jute fibers in this mat offer the strength of conventional fiberglass mesh, yet are decomposable in a landfill (we suggest reusing it instead).

Jute Yoga Mats offer ultra grip, excellent wet traction and great cushioning and keep you grounded. They are durable and provide best protection against abrasion.

• Jute mats are machine washable. Please note that these mats will have a longer life span if hand washed
